Charity Golf Cup 2026 - Breitenloo 14 August
On 14 August 2026, 80 golfers braved the summer heat of around 35°C to take part in the Right To Play Charity Golf Cup at Golfclub Breitenloo. Despite the scorching temperatures, spirits remained high throughout the day. Energised by our partner Caffè Carlito, participants set off in 20 flights alongside our ambassadors Mirjam Ott, Laurence Rochat, Paul Accola, Markus Zberg, Roger Furrer and Carlos Lima.
After completing 18 holes, the tired but happy golfers gathered on the club’s sunny terrace. While enjoying a well-deserved refreshment, guests were amazed and entertained by ambassador Pat Perry, whose impressive magic tricks created moments of wonder and laughter.
During the subsequent prize-giving ceremony, not only were the tournament winners celebrated, but the winners of the special competitions were also recognised. A heartfelt thank you goes to our generous sponsors, whose attractive prizes contributed greatly to the success of the event.
The festive atmosphere continued long after the sporting competition had ended. Guests enjoyed a generous BBQ buffet, sharing stories and celebrating together. The raffle proved extremely popular, while the live auction, expertly hosted by Roger Lima with support from Roger Furrer, sparked exciting bidding battles for unique and priceless experiences with our ambassadors.
The golf day was a tremendous success in every respect. Beyond the many memorable moments on and off the course, the Right To Play community came together to make a meaningful difference for children facing adversity around the world. Thanks to the generous support of all participants, sponsors and partners, a significant amount of funds was raised for our play-based programmes, helping children gain access to education, protection and psychosocial support through the power of play and sport.
