Gillian McMahon joined Right to Play as UK National Director in November 2021. She has a worked in international development for most of her career and has a Masters in Development Studies. Prior to joining Right to Play, Gillian spent 11 years working for the international school feeding charity, Mary’s Meals. She worked in various roles, focussed originally on programme development; policy; monitoring, evaluation and learning, and institutional funding, before moving into leading on UK supporter engagement and income.

Gillian is passionate about programmes which make a difference for vulnerable children and is keen to help Right to Play grow and develop further in the UK. She is based outside Glasgow in Scotland and has three children.
