The atmosphere at the new Swiss Life Arena was excellent on December 22nd, 2022, and ZSC Lions fans were hoping for a win against HC Fribourg-Gottéron until the very end. The 12,000 spectators in the sold-out stadium saw an exciting game – the visiting team ultimately walking away victorious.

But the home team’s loss was only secondary that evening. Already before the game, gifts were distributed: ZSC Lions CEO Peter Zahner handed over a check for CHF 15,000 to Right To Play Switzerland National Director, Max Bertschmann.

The team has been supporting the children's charity for the past 10 years. In doing so, it makes a valuable contribution to protect, educate and empower children in 15 countries. This empowers children to rise above challenges and find their way back to hope.

Also, the spectators did not miss out after the game and were treated with delicious Grittibänzen from the fan organization.

Right To Play would like to thank all ZSC managers for their valuable commitment and much appreciated cooperation.
