Racha has 18 years of experience working in humanitarian and socioeconomic development sectors across the Middle East and North Africa. She held senior leadership roles with ActionAid International as Director Arab Region and with the British Council as Syria Country Director. Prior to this, she held different program management and field coordination roles with UNDP and UNRWA in Lebanon as well as local and regional NGOs.

Racha holds a Bachelor degree in Sociology from the Lebanese University and throughout her professional journey, she has built strong skills and expertise in strategic planning, team leadership and development, program development, communications and advocacy, financial sustainability and business development, managing operations in fragile contexts as well as organizational development and change management. She also has extensive experience in the design and delivery of peacebuilding, education, youth development and cultural engagement programs working with a wide range of local and international partners and donors in the MENA region.
