SAVE HER SEAT
A girl’s future starts with a seat in a classroom. But it’s not just a seat. Girls with an education give back and lift their peers up. They serve as mentors, role models, and advocates for other children. They challenge stereotypes and prejudices about what’s right and fight for a better world for all. They make the world a more colourful, exciting place for everyone.
FLOODS IN PAKISTAN THREATEN THE FUTURE OF MILLIONS OF CHILDREN
The humanitarian situation in Pakistan has deteriorated dramatically in the last two weeks. The country is facing devastating destruction from the worst floods in 30 years. More than 33 million people are directly affected by the floods.
Annual Report 2021
Pandemic-related social distancing continued to keep children away from friends, school and support. Conflict destroyed communities and forced families to flee. Millions of children were forced into child labour or child marriage. Our response: We helped children return to school, resist exploitation and prejudice, prevent disease and overcome the trauma of war.
Protect. Educate. Empower.
Every day, in 15 countries around the world, Right To Play works to protect, educate, and empower children to rise above adversity using the power of play. We reach children and youth each year in some of the most difficult and dangerous places in the world to help them to stay in school and graduate, resist exploitation, overcome prejudice, prevent disease, and recover from the trauma of conflict and displacement.
